Mecca – The heaven on earth

09th March 2015: We started our journey to the holy cities of Mecca and Madina with awe and lots of respect. This was the first time when we were visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA); a place which I always thought would be little tough for an immoral soul like me given that the Islamic laws are practiced there in the purest form. But, it was when we landed on the land of Mecca, I realized that your connection to the outer world is suddenly lost and every immoral or moral soul becomes just a soul. Every time the Imam makes a call for Salah, you feel yourself being dragged to the beautiful Ka’aba.

We left Karachi for Jeddah via Dubai and visited Mecca and Madina several times during a small 15-day trip. Here are few glimpse of the trip that I wish every Muslim must plan at least once in his or her life. AMEEN
